Full Background Story

The Crunch Kitchen began in a small Chicago kitchen after years of searching for a snack that was simple, flavorful, and genuinely satisfying. We wanted something crunchy enough to crave, made with ingredients we actually recognized—and we couldn't seem to find it. So we started experimenting. There were plenty of batches that didn't quite make the cut, but eventually we discovered that baked cheese, bold seasonings, and a little creativity could create something seriously addictive. What started as a kitchen experiment became a growing collection of crunchy snacks inspired by the flavors we love. We're still obsessed with the details, from the seasoning blend to that first satisfying crunch. Because we believe a snack can be simple and exciting.

Biggest Challenge

It sounds simple, but creating a cheese crisp that was flavorful, perfectly crunchy, and consistent batch after batch took countless experiments. Too thin, too thick, too salty, not crunchy enough—we went through plenty of “almost there” batches before we finally landed on the recipe we loved.
